Dr. Rose uses carefully targeted, high doses of radiation energy to destroy or damage cancer cells. He specializes in treating patients with prostate, head and neck, and primary brain tumors.
Dr. Rose is a radiation oncologist who specializes in treating prostate cancer, head and neck cancer and primary brain tumors. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences, instructing medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Rose has coauthored multiple peer-reviewed articles, text book chapters and commentaries with work appearing in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, International Journal of Radiation Oncology – Biology – Physics.
