California Protons Cancer Therapy Center partners with Proton Doctors Professional Corporation (PDPC) to deliver an unparalleled level of clinical care and expertise to our patients. With more than 50 years of combined experience in the proton space, our PDPC physicians have treated more than 14,000 patients with proton therapy. Our team is internationally-recognized, sought out by patients from around the world, and specialized in treating a wide-range of both common and very rare cancers.
UC San Diego Health
UC San Diego Health is nationally ranked in six adult medical and surgical specialties by U.S. News & World Report, and is home to San Diego’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. For decades, UC San Diego Health and its schools of medicine and pharmacy have been advancing medicine through breakthrough discoveries – including pioneering firsts in surgery, imaging, cancer treatment and cardiovascular care. UC San Diego Health is the only university-based health care system in San Diego with more than 1,500 doctors and scientists who are published experts in their field.
Rady-Children’s Hospital – San Diego is a 551-bed pediatric care facility providing the largest source of comprehensive pediatric medical services in San Diego, southern Riverside and Imperial counties. Rady-Children’s is the only hospital in the San Diego area dedicated exclusively to pediatric healthcare and is the region’s only designated pediatric trauma center. Rady-Children’s provides specialized cancer treatment and hematology services to children throughout the region. In June 2018, U.S. News & World Report ranked Rady-Children’s among the best children’s hospitals in the nation in all 10 pediatric specialties the magazine surveyed.
